Hello Foodservice Family,

Chef Ted here, and I’m back to spread my chefly wisdom. I know it’s been a minute since you’ve heard from me family, but I’m on somebody else’s timeline now so try not to hold it against me. ☺ Anyway let’s get to it.

I was recently around a group of chefs and sales people that were really boosting my ego from some new ideas I had presented for them to try. I know what you’re thinking family “What makes that different than any other day, Chef Ted?” But this day was different. After all the praising and brown nosing was over, we had an interesting conversation on inspiration, where it comes from and how to stay inspired.

Inspiration for me comes from everywhere and at different times. Sometimes it’s watching my awesome co-workers whip something up, looking at some of those fast moving 30 second videos on Facebook, reading, Pinterest, or even my beautiful family saying to me “this stuff stinks daddy”!!! :) Bless their heart.

I can go on and on but I think you get the point. I don’t come up with all these cool ideas by myself. It’s ok to look elsewhere for inspiration. I’m not ashamed to tell you if I see a great concept I’m going to us it. I’m already thinking of different ways how I can duplicate it and make it even better than what it is.

Family, it’s easy to get caught up in the day to day grind and lose that creative edge. Believe me, I know!! A lot of times I’m stuck in not-so-exciting meetings when I would rather be in the kitchen. But I digress.

Check out some of the latest and greatest ideas created just for you. Get inspired and do something different. Your customers will be ever so grateful. Keep fighting the good fight, and stay motivated.

Catch ya later
