“I love interacting with our customers and earning their confidence to trust me with making decisions that will help them succeed.”
“I strive to help our customers by breaking down some of the technical aspects of baking,” said Chef Tim. “I feel it is important to work alongside staff to provide training and help with troubleshooting so they have confidence in using our products and can make the most what we have to offer.”
Working primarily with restaurant accounts and serving as a foodservice expert for convenience stores, Chef Tim’s expertise is in process implementation, plant start-up, baking, menu development and product development. He has worked with General Mills since 1999.
Prior to joining General Mills, Chef Tim worked in product development, country club foodservice, grocery stores and sales. Interestingly, he was pursuing a career in Criminal Justice when his fiancée, now wife, helped him realize his true passion was cooking. She encouraged him to pursue his dream and attend culinary school.
Outside of General Mills, Chef Tim serves another important role as a volunteer fire fighter and as President of Minnesota Fire Fighter’s Foundation, a non-profit that works with fire departments throughout the state to support cancer awareness among fire fighters.
