Under Chef Michael’s leadership, the Chefs of the Mills are responsible for facilitating training, developing recipes, working with key customers, and creating solutions for foodservice professionals.
Prior to joining General Mills Foodservice in 2001, Chef Michael worked in hotels, restaurants, fine-dining restaurants, and contract food-management operations for more than 20 years. He has expertise in flavor development and designing training and development programs.
Chef Michael has a master’s degree in education and human resources development from the University of Minnesota, a bachelor’s degree in finance, and a culinary arts diploma from Oklahoma State University.
