Finishing and Biscuit Variations
- Brush baked biscuits with melted or flavored butters
(i.e.: garlic herb or honey) for added flavor.
- For a simple scone recipe, use Buttermilk Biscuit or Biscuit
Mix, add a 1/2 lb. of granulated sugar and up to 2 lbs
of stir-ins, such as fruit or nuts per 5 lb box of mix.
Top biscuits before baking with kosher salt, course sugar or other flavored particulates for enhanced texture, appearance and flavor.
