Oven cooled down when handling product. It takes approximately 2-3 minutes for all pouches to equilibrate on the sheet pan following baking
For this product: DO NOT rotate sheet pans baked in convection oven. Opening the oven door during short bake times will lengthen time required.
Too many pouches on one sheet pan
Product needs to lie flat on the sheet pan in a 3x4 placement in order to evenly heat through.
Packaging touched the walls or racks of the oven directly
Product needs to lie flat on the sheet pan in a 3x4 placement in order to evenly heat through. DO NOT place pouches directly on oven rack or let pouches touch oven sides
Product heats by steaming in the pouch
Packaging has holes designed into it so the steam will naturally escape over time. This is an attribute and will help prolong the products shelf life
Product was thawed prior to baking
Reduce heating times if product is not frozen
Product was baked too long in the oven

Meat Equivalent product not heated to proper temperature
Heat Meat equivalent products to 165°F internal temperature before serving
Product was held too long before serving. Product was heated too long in the microwave.
Bake in batches. Use caution not to overheat product when using the microwave. Limit duration of hot holding to 3 hours or less.
