WHAT:            General Mills Convenience announces it has improved its Pillsbury™ Stuffed Waffles—cutting prep time in half and allowing for longer hold times—while adding a new flavor. The sweet maple-flavored stuffed waffles, available in sausage, egg and cheese as well as bacon, egg and cheese, give convenience stores a new sandwich format to bring excitement to their breakfast offerings.

Featuring high-quality ingredients from a brand that’s synonymous with delicious, warm-baked food, Pillsbury™ Stuffed Waffles are a convenient, grab-and-go item for busy convenience store customers looking for a hearty breakfast. In addition, the menu item is easy to prep, package and hold—the frozen waffles are warmed in-house and packaged in convenient grab-and-go containers that can be placed in a warmer or hot holding area for up to four hours. New packaging includes brown craft bags that let the product quality shine through and allow for easy eating on-the-go.

General Mills also offers a number of point-of-sale marketing materials such as window clings, shelf tags and more to help c-store retailers promote the menu item in their store.
