Here's a large-quantity bar recipe that has all the flavors of homemade apple crisp.

Apple pie filling
3 lb 9.00 oz

Lemon juice
1 Tbsp
Cinnamon, ground
1 Tbsp
Nutmeg, ground
1 tsp
Crust and Crumb Topping
  1. Mix cake mix, water and butter in mixer bowl with paddle attachment on low speed 30 seconds.
  2. Stop mixer, scrape bowl and paddle. Mix for additional 30 seconds on low speed or until crumbly dough forms.
  3. Measure 4 cups (approx. 1 lb 14 oz) of the dough and set aside for crumb topping.
  4. Press remaining dough into greased or parchment-lined full size sheet pan to form bottom crust.
Filling
  1. Combine apple pie filling, lemon juice and spices in food processor; pulse 15 seconds or until apples are in small chunks.
  2. Spread apple filling evenly over crust; evenly sprinkle on reserved crumb topping.
  3. Bake as directed below.
