Apple Cinnamon Smoothies

Apples, cinnamon and brown sugar are a winning combo in just about anything, including this creamy yogurt smoothie.

Servings: 16 servings (1 serving = 1 - 8 oz smoothie)

Sliced apples, canned, drained, chilled

Brown sugar, packed
6 oz
1 cup
Cinnamon, ground
1 1/3 Tbsp
  1. Add chilled apples to large capacity blender (or prepare in batches).
  2. Blend on high speed 1 minute; stop blender and scrape sides with spatula.
  3. Continue to blend until smooth.
  4. Measure to verify that pureeing has resulted in 8 cups of fruit (for nutrition requirements if needed); puree additional fruit if necessary.
  5. Whisk fruit puree, brown sugar, cinnamon and yogurt together in large container until smooth.
  6. Portion into serving cups and cover; serve chilled immediately or refrigerate overnight.

  • Garnish with an additional sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Substitute 1/2 cup pancake syrup for brown sugar if desired. Note, nutrition information may change.
