Cinnamon Pecan Cupcakes

Brown sugar, cinnamon and pecan pieces are swirled through tender, tasty cupcakes topped with vanilla icing.

Batter
  1. Place half of the water into mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
  2. Add entire amount of cake mix and flour to mixer bowl; mix on medium speed 2 minutes.
  3. Slowly add remaining water. Stop mixer and scrape bowl and mix on low speed 2 minutes.
  4. Combined pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon in separate mixing bowl; swirl into batter.
  5. Deposit #16 scoop of batter into greased or paper-lined muffin pans.
  6. Bake as directed below and allow to cool.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 8 minutes of baking.
Finishing
  1. Heat icing in microwave until melted.
  2. Dip tops of cooled cupcakes into melted icing, and serve.
