Lacy, sweet-hot, crisp cookies start with a ground mixture of almonds and Nature Valley™ Oats ‘N Honey Granola and a dash of Sriracha.

Florentines
  1. Add 2 cups of almonds and all of the granola to the bowl of a food processor; pulse until roughly chopped.
  2. Add chopped granola and almonds, cinnamon, flour and remaining cup of sliced almonds to a medium mixing bowl; stir until combined and set aside.
  3. Add sugar, butter and cream to a heavy-bottomed, medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil; remove pan from heat and stir in sriracha.
  5. Pour into almond mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Cool 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Deposit #70 scoop of batter, onto a parchment-lined full sheet pan, in a 3 x 4 pattern (cookies will significantly spread).
  8. Flatten slightly with wet fingertips.
  9. Bake as directed below or until florentines are lacy and golden brown then slide the parchment paper with the cookies still on it, onto a cooling rack to cool completely.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 3 minutes of baking.
Finishing
  1. Add icing and maple syrup to a medium mixing bowl; whisk until combined and smooth.
  2. Drizzle approx. 1/2 tsp on top of each completely cooled florentine.
  3. Sprinkle with a small pinch of flaked sea salt just before serving.
