WHAT:       General Mills Foodservice announces that five of the top K-12 cereals are now available in a 2 oz. equivalent grain format, giving school foodservice programs a convenient option to meet 2 grains with one product. The cereals include: Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ 25% Less Sugar, Cocoa Puffs™ 25% Less Sugar, Lucky Charms™, Honey Nut Cheerios™ and Cinnamon Chex.™ The cups, which have room for milk, work well for breakfast in the classroom or as a grab ‘n go item—no dishes required.

"These new 2 oz. equivalent grain cereals require less labor with inventory, storage and serving than two separate 1 grain products,” said Jasmine Scott, senior marketing associate for K-12 at General Mills Foodservice. “Plus, with packaging that is similar to what students are used to seeing outside of school, we’re excited to see how these familiar products help drive student participation.”
