Nothing says celebration like a birthday cake adorned with sprinkles. Luscious mascarpone cream surrounded by strawberries, chocolate brownies and state fair donut-style biscuit bites make this board a delicious showstopper.

Mascarpone Cream

Mascarpone Cream
  1. Add cream to mixer bowl fitted with whisk attachment; mix on high for 2 minutes or until thick.
  2. Add powdered sugar and beat an additional 1 minute or until soft peaks form.
  3. Add mascarpone cheese and beat until thick and smooth; keep cool for service.
Biscuit Bites
  1. Thaw biscuit pucks, covered, either at room temperature 15-30 minutes until flexible or refrigerated overnight.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  4. Drop biscuit pieces into deep-fat fryer preheated to 350°F for 2-4 minutes, turning as necessary, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove from oil, drain and toss into bowl with sugar.
Assembly
  1. Spread Mascarpone Cream down center of serving board and top with birthday cake sprinkles.
  2. Cut fudge brownies into 1-inch squares, then in half to create triangles.
  3. Place brownie pieces, strawberries and Biscuit Bites in decorative containers or directly onto the board; serve immediately.

  • Serve with a variety of fresh berries (1 cup), chocolates or cookies and garnish with mint as desired.
