Biscuit Bread Pudding with Double Barrel Whiskey Sauce

Flaky baked biscuit pieces soak up a rich custard, then bake, to be topped with a sweet, buttery, spirited sauce.

Bread Pudding
  1. Cut pre-baked biscuits into 1-inch cubes; place into sprayed 2-inch full steam table pan.
  2. Whisk yogurt, eggs, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a medium stainless bowl until thoroughly combined.
  3. Pour mixture over biscuits; cover with foil and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight until biscuits are soft.
  4. Gently stir to redistribute liquid; bake as directed below.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 12 minutes of baking.
Whiskey Sauce
  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add sugar and eggs; whisk constantly until well combined and mixture thickens. DO NOT allow to simmer.
  3. Add whiskey (to taste) and whisk until combined; remove from heat and keep warm for service.
Finishing
  1. Serve 2x3-inch piece with 2 Tbsp Whiskey Sauce drizzled over top; serve immediately.
