Three layers of chocolate brownie decadence: Gold Medalâ„¢ Chocolate Brownie Mix and butter form the crust. It's topped with a rich coconut layer, and finally, a mouthwatering ganache.

Batter
  1. Place brownie mix and butter in a mixer bowl with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low speed for 1-2 minutes or until butter is incorporated and mix starts to look like streusel.
  3. Place brownie streusel into a greased and parchment-lined half sheet pan.
  4. Firmly press down crust mixture evenly into pan.
  5. Bake as directed below; cool completely approximately 30 minutes.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 4 minutes of baking.
Filling
  1. Beat softened butter, milk and vanilla in mixer bowl on low speed until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar; mix until well blended.
  3. Stir in coconut; mix until well blended.
  4. Spread filling evenly over cooled brownie base.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until filling is set.
Topping
  1. Heat whipping cream, chocolate chips and butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
  2. Cool topping for about 10 minutes or until lukewarm.
  3. Pour topping on top and spread to cover filling.
  4. Refrigerate uncovered for at least 2 hours or until set.
  5. Before cutting into bars, let stand for 10 minutes at room temperature. Store covered in the refrigerator.
