In a clever spin on apple pie, Pillsbury™ Biscuit Dough becomes the luscious crust with layers of caramel sauce, apple pie filling and crunchy streusel to top off this individual pie you won’t dare to share.

Streusel Topping (bulk recipe)
  1. Add cake mix, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to mixing bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
  2. Mix on low speed approx. 2 minutes or until crumbly.
  3. Reserve 12 oz; cover and refrigerate remaining topping for other recipes.
Prep
  1. Thaw biscuit dough, covered, either 15-30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate overnight.
  2. Roll thawed dough to 5-inch diameter circles, using flour as needed on work surface and rolling pin.
Assembly
  1. Place dough circles in generously sprayed jumbo muffin cups; press dough against bottom and up sides.
  2. Add approx. 2 tsp caramel fudge topping and 1/4 cup apple pie filling to each; top with #30 scoop (1 oz) Streusel Topping.
  3. Bake as directed below; allow to cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
