A rich, smooth coffee-based glaze, just right for breakfast rolls and more, gets a kick from coffee liqueur.

Coffee-flavored liqueur
2 Tbsp
Instant espresso powder
1 1/3 Tbsp
Powdered sugar
1 lb 2.50 oz
4 cups
Water, as needed
  1. Combine heavy cream, coffee liqueur and espresso powder in a medium stainless steel bowl and whisk until smooth.
  2. Whisk in the powdered sugar gradually and combine.
  3. Thin with additional water, if desired, to adjust the consistency and use as desired.
