Batter
  1. Add water, sriracha and cake mix to mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment; mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix on low speed for 2 additional minutes.
  3. Deposit #40 scoop of batter into greased or paper-lined mini muffin pans; bake as directed below and allow to cool completely.

*Rotate pans baked in convection oven one-half turn (180°) after 5 minutes of baking.
Frosting
  1. Add icing, peanut butter and sriracha to mixer bowl fitted with paddle attachment; mix on medium speed for 3 minutes.
  2. Mix on medium speed for 2-3 additional minutes or until completely combined and smooth.
Topping
  1. Toss together peanuts, sriracha and oil in a small bowl.
  2. Spread coated nuts on a parchment-lined full sheet pan.
  3. Bake as directed below; allow to cool and finely chop.

Assembly
  1. Pipe 0.5 oz Frosting (use round tip) onto completely cooled cupcakes.
