Prep
  1. Add apple juice to saucepan and bring to a boil; remove from heat and add tea bags.
  2. Allow to steep at least 30 minutes or until juice is cool.
  3. Squeeze juice out of tea bags and measure to ensure there is at least 8 cups; add additional apple juice if necessary.
Finishing
  1. Add yogurt and tea mixture to a 2 gallon or larger container; whisk until completely smooth.
  2. Add milk and whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Portion into 16 oz servings and cover; serve immediately or refrigerate for service.

  • Add 1/2 cup of fruit to the bottom of a 20 oz cup to boost the Meal Component value to 1/2 cup Fruit if desired. (Note nutrition information will change.) Use Red Zinger Tea and use strawberry yogurt for a YoLatte Pink Tea Smoothie.
  • For crediting in USDA Child Nutrition Programs, 1 serving (16 oz) = 1 Meat Alternate, 1 cup Milk, 1/2 cup Fruit Juice
